
History
Dr. David Garcia and Mr. Christopher Buggé founded CEDRA in 1990 to provide GLP bioanalytical services for the federal government, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Since then, CEDRA has posted impressive growth every year, growing from just six employees in 1990 to over 450 in 2008.
In 2005, CEDRA expanded its range of services, adding freestanding Phase I clinics in Austin and San Antonio, Texas. CEDRA also expanded bioanalytical capabilities in 2008 to support biological therapeutic (e.g. pharmacokinetic and immunogenicity) and biomarker analyses utilizing ligand-binding assay methodologies (ELISA, RIA, ECL, etc).
